Oregon State Gets First Signees of 2011 Class

The Oregon State Beavers have received their first two signed commitments for the 2011 recruiting class today. Rusty Fernando, a DE/LB, will have three years to play two.  He comes out of Glendale CC in Arizona.  He appears to be the better "get".  The other commitment comes from Blake Harrah, a DE out of Saddleback CC in California.

Mike Riley has said that he is focusing on JC players for the defensive front seven to make up for the losses of Gabe Miller, Stephen Paea, Brennan Olander, Dwight Roberson, and Keith Pankey.
